Acne
Known to be triggered by hormones and bacteria, acne is a skin disease that most of us have already experienced during our puberty. It’s formed by oil produces by our body and a dead cell clogged up within the pore of our skin. Acne commonly appears in the face; however, we can also find them at the back, chest and at some other part of our body.
“You are what you eat” – the food that we consumed replenishes its content to our body. Eating food with severe content of oil such as fried foods increases the oil excretion that leads to formation of acnes. Other than having an unpleasant look, people with acne usually loses self-confidence and hinders them from doing other things than trying to cure it. There are a lot of ways how to cure acne; hence, it is also advised that precautionary measures would be use.
Other than using over the counter products such as Exposed skin, Clearpores, Benzoyl Peroxide, Antibiotics, Accutane and alike there are other ways such as using herbal/natural methods. In using over the counter products, we should consider its effect as well. We should refrain from using antibiotics and benzoyl peroxide (which also contains antibiotics) for acne’s sake because taking antibiotics could start developing “Super bugs” or also known as antibiotic resistant organism. Accutane on the other hand was proven to contain materials that may cause liver damage and suicidal depression.
Aside from being cheaper, herbal or natural methods of treating acnes is much safer and easy to prepare. You can use distilled vinegar mixed with water and apply it to the infected area. Also, you can use other ingredients that you can find inside your house such as baking powder, honey, aloe vera juice, egg white and cooked oatmeal (cooled). Let any of the above mentioned sit in your face for about 5-10 minutes and rinse it off afterwards. Citrus juice like lemon and strawberries can also be used as a remedy as it exfoliates the skin that removes dead skin cells, same procedure is observed. Moreover, other than treating acne you could use some change in your lifestyle. For one, you should increase your water consumption for about 8-10 glasses a day and eat healthy foods like vegetables and lots of fruits. It helps clean your system and takes out unwanted toxins in your body. Also, washing your face should be done rigorously especially after putting make or coming from the streets. The dirt that we get in our face clogs up together with the oil and dead skin cell. Lastly don’t prick your acne, let the dermatologists do it for you because doing so can cause further damage once the acne gets infected.

It is a small flap that hangs off the skin. Skin tags are neither dangerous nor contagious. However, it is considered a tumor as the world defines. Warts

Eczema
It is a non-contagious disease where skin is dry, itchy and inflames. Stress, allergens and climate are usually the reason for this skin disease. It usually found on the hands and elbows and other bending areas. It impairs the function of the skin as a barrier. It can also be triggered by substance in contact with skin like soaps, cosmetics, clothing, detergents, jewelry and sweat. To get rid of inflammation you can apply Hydrocortisone (steroid cream) along with an anti-itching like Benadryl. If it is triggered by the clothes your wearing you should change the detergent you’re wearing or the soap you’re using. Avoid scratching hard and prevent your skin in being dry.

Psoriasis can be treated with home remedies like water therapy (combined salt and water),Apple cider vinegar soak and olive oil.
Rosacea
Rosacea causes redness that may come and go. It is a chronic skin condition involving inflammation of cheeks, eye lids and forehead. It commonly mistaken as an acne and can also cause burning and soreness. Although the cause of rosacea is unknown, it is likely to develop among fair-skinned, who blushes easily, women and at the age between 30-50 years of age.
If not treated properly it can get worse. It treated with use of antibiotics, other medicines like Retin and surgery. You can also try Apple Cider vinegar to stimulate the release of enzymes that normalizes the bacteria, Azelaic acid cream, B vitamins, Licorice, improve digestive enzymes and Green tea cream.
Cold Sores
This disease is caused by herpes simplex virus (HSV). Areas affected can be painful, once healed it won’t scar, however, it has the tendency to recur. HSV can be transmitted through personal contact. It invades the cell of the skin causing a fluid-filled blister to appear. The first symptom of cold sores may include pain around mouth and on lips, a fever, a sore throat and swollen glands. It can be treated in few days but would cause pain. You can prevent from having this by avoiding contact with infected people, sharing utensils cups, and washing of hands. Razor Bumps

These are likely to develop cancer than those appear after birth. Another type of mole is the Dysplastic it is larger than the average, it is also prone to cancer and certain changes should be observed. Moles are alright not treated since it only has tendencies to be malignant. However, there are home remedies that can be used such as Apple Cider vinegar, Garlic and Iodine salt.
Melasma
Believe to be linked to sun exposure is commonly found to women although also possible to occur to men. The exact cause of melasma is still unknown but it is believe that it can be triggered by pregnancy because it common to pregnant women. When occurs during pregnancy, estrogen, progesterone and melanocyte are increased. Common melasma therapy includes usage of Hydroquinone, Esoterica and Porcelana. Though it can also clear as time pass, you can also use Apple Cider Vinegar or mixture with onion juice and lemon is also effective and improves skin complexion.
Sebarrheic Keratoses
It is a noncancerous growth that may develop with age. It appears on many areas of the skin either alone or in groups. It can be dark or multicolored. No treatment is necessary unless irritation develops. Herbal extracts, freezing and surgical removal is possible as well as using commercial products like Keratoses.
